1. Product Design & Creative Works
No artificial intelligence has been used to create, generate, or produce the commercial creative content of our products.
In particular, all artwork, visual design, illustrations, creative direction, and product concepts relating to the Deck of Many Colors are entirely human-created. AI has not been used in the creation of the product's artwork, card designs, or any of its commercial creative elements.

2. Use of Artificial Intelligence
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools during the development and operation of this website. This may include assistance with concept generation, technical problem-solving, coding support, website development, copy refinement, and the creation of supporting website elements or documentation.
All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and approved by us before publication.

3. Scope of AI Assistance
Where AI is used, its role is strictly limited to technical and administrative assistance, such as website development, software implementation, drafting non-product website text, or internal development support.
AI is not used as a substitute for the artistic, creative, or commercial design process behind our products.

4. Transparency & Third-Party Contributors
We are committed to maintaining transparency throughout the development of our products and projects.
Any individual, contractor, collaborator, or organization contributing to products, projects, or content related to the Deck of Many Colors or Ninjon.net may be required to disclose how artificial intelligence is used within their workflow. This allows us to determine whether such use complies with this AI Policy and our commitment to preserving the integrity of our creative work.
When requested, contributors must provide an accurate and complete disclosure of any AI-assisted processes used in the course of their work. Failure to disclose material AI use when requested may result in the rejection, suspension, or termination of the work or collaboration.

5. Intellectual Property & AI Training Data
We are opposed to AI models being trained on artists’ work without their specific written permission.
We believe artists should retain control over how their work is used, including whether it is included in training datasets for artificial intelligence systems. We support the principle that consent must be explicit, informed, and respected when it comes to the use of creative work in AI training.

6. Commitment to Transparency
We believe in being transparent about how technology is used within our business. Where AI contributes to our workflow, it is used responsibly as a supporting tool and not as the creator of the products we sell.
Our commitment remains that the creative identity, artwork, and commercial design of the Deck of Many Colors are the result of human creativity and craftsmanship. We are committed to ensuring that our customers and collaborators understand where AI is used... and, just as importantly, where it is not.
